Seggel Family Jr. Regatta 2024

This junior sailing regatta is open to the following fleets:

• Laser 4.7
• Laser Radial
• Sunfish
• Club 420

Lavallette Yacht Club has informed us that their kitchen and bar will be open both days. It is a perfect time to enjoy a view of the races from LYC's porch or upstairs deck and have a delicious lunch. 

At the Seggel Family Junior Regatta (the big boat regatta) they will continue with the "Spirit Award" paddle for the club with the best team theme. Their giveaway "shoodies" (long sleeve t-shirts with hoods) are fantastic and the design is beautiful... we think the kids will all be very pleased!

The LYC junior sailors will be running an Alex's Lemonade Stand at the regatta in honor of Caryn Wilson. Caryn was an avid junior sailor with LYC whose life was taken too soon by childhood cancer when she was a teen. You can also donate at any time by scanning the QR code on the poster (see attachment or click the link below).

Pre-registration is required. There is NO onsite registration.

Boats should not arrive before 1 PM on Sunday, July 28 and parked in such a way that the beach boat ramp is not blocked.

Monday, July 29, 2024 Schedule

• 0730 - 0900 Check in at the clubhouse
• 0900 - 0930 Skipper's Meeting
• 0930 Harbor Gun
• 1000 First warning signal with races to follow
• Lunch break on the water for all fleets
• No starting sequence will begin after 1530.
