Please join us on Sunday, August 25th at 10:00 AM for our Tri-annual General Membership Meeting at Pine Beach Yacht Club.

Greetings all PBYC members,

Pursuant to Article VI of our by-laws, the “Annual” General Membership Meeting will be held on August 25th at 10 AM at the clubhouse in Hoffmann Hall. At this meeting, two Trustees will be elected for the 2024-2026 term. This includes the Trustee position currently held by Valerie O’Leary and the vacant Trustee position held by Bob Morrows prior to his resignation. This notice of our meeting and of the election is being distributed at least 10 days prior to the meeting as required by Article VI, paragraph 1.4.

The remainder of the Officers are in the second year of their terms and do not stand for election this year. As announced at our May 2024 meeting, Suzanne Krean has been appointed as chair of our nominating committee and our point of contact for members who would like to be nominated to fill one of the two trustee positions. Valerie O’Leary has asked to be considered for re-election to another term. Stephanie Higham has asked to be considered for election to fill the other trustee position,

If anyone else would like to stand for election, please contact Sue. Nominations may also be presented from the floor at the meeting.
